Who we are
Serving Rhea and surrounding counties for more than 30 years, The Care Center is a nonprofit pregnancy help medical clinic providing pregnancy testing and limited obstetrical ultrasounds at no cost to our clients. We do not perform or refer for abortion services.
Our services are confidential to the full extent allowed by law.
How we work
Our medical team consists of our medical director (medical doctor), doctors of obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), registered nurses, and a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS). Our OB/GYN reviews all medical files, including ultrasound scans. Our nursing and RDMS staff perform the urine pregnancy testing and limited obstetric ultrasounds. Our registered nurses have completed extensive training in limited obstetric ultrasound through National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA).

We believe that each and every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. That’s why we do what we do. Because when things may not make sense, you deserve to have someone walk with you through all steps of your journey. And even if your journey leads you elsewhere, we will still be here if you desire to come back.
Non-profit
The Care Center is a non-profit 501(c)3, which is funded through individual, church, and business donations. All services are provided at no cost to clients.
